Serena: “With this collection, we wanted to bring our digital world into the “real world”, by offering a selection of colour combinations that would feel true to Collagerie and appeal to our community in different ways. We feel there is a style for everyone!”

Lucinda: “Good stationery can make a huge difference both to the giver and to to the recipient. It can be so uplifting. For what is a relatively small gesture, the pleasure totally outstrips the effort – it lasts forever and says so much about both of you. So to be able to design this collection was a dream!”

“Style is about a certain individuality, a confidence and a freedom of spirit. And yes, you can definitely craft it. You can experiment, you have to make mistakes and find out what makes you feel good about yourself. Find out what your best colour is, if you are a minimalist or maximalist, try things out and never be afraid of change. You’re never too old to learn. And copying isn’t a crime! But always, always make it comfortable. You can’t be stylish if you can’t walk or run.”

Serena: “I keep every birthday card from my family, and have so many old letters saved from my childhood. I used to write to pen pals all over the world, from Japan to Finland to the US. When I was working at Vogue, I remember a note landing on my desk from Jilly Cooper who I’d recently met. My assistant nearly fainted! It was a tiny, handwritten notecard folded into the most adorable dog design.” Lucinda: “I have all my love letters from my husband Simon in a leather folder tied with a ribbon. I think I know the first one off by heart I’ve read it so many times.”
