With it snowing one minute, a heatwave the next, then chilly and drizzly, it's yet to feel like spring has really sprung this year. For six of Papier's international artists though, there's always a sure sign that represents the changing of the seasons. Here, they each show us what that is in characteristically illustrated fashion.
Danielle Kroll
"I know spring is here when the grass is plush, green and ready for frolicking."
Brie Harrison
"The colours of flowers poking through – one of my favourite spring moments is the start of forget-me-nots."
Kate Zumwalt of 1canoe2
"Our favourite sign of spring is the giant rainstorms that roll over the prairie where we live in Fulton, Missouri. Right in the middle of the United States."
Kate Cronk of Peggy & Kate
"The first sign of spring to me is the scent of blossom on the breeze."
Cat Seto of Ferme à Papier
"Spring harkens when glimpses of blooms can be spotted on the cherry blossom and gardenia trees around San Francisco."
Eunice and Sabrina Moyle of Hello!Lucky
"The first sign of spring for us is the uncontrollable urge to frolic!"
