Our easy and delicious, 3-step recipe for National Piña Colada day.

Papier's Piña Colada Recipe

Do we like Piña Coladas? Yes, very much. And getting caught in rain? Not really if we're being honest. We much prefer a delicious rum-based cocktail to becoming unexpectedly sodden. So let's get back to the Piña Coladas. In honour of National Piña Colada Day (no, we didn't know either, but it's a cause we can most definitely get behind) we've created our own easy-to-make twist on Puerto Rico's fruitiest export.

Here's what you'll need...

Equipment
Blender
Chilled cocktail glass
Paper straw

Ingredients
120ml pineapple juice
60ml white rum
60 ml coconut cream
¼ freshly squeezed lime
A pinch of salt

Garnish (optional)
Pineapple slices
Maraschino cherries
Cute paper umbrellas

And here's how to make one...

Step 1: Throw all the ingredients into the blender and blend until you get a smooth consistency.

Step 2: Pour into the chilled glass.

Step 3: Add your garnish and enjoy!
