In contrast to the pawsitive colours of the cat-outs he’s famed for, clawagist Catisse is actually a grumpy recluse. Many critics believe this is due to his fierce rivalry with his former student Pupcasso. It has certainly pushed him to create great work – and the sleek shapes he’s created for Papier are testament to that.
